We cannot compare fruit sugar to other sugary foods, because fruit sugar is not isolated, it is accompanied by vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.
Our bodies are made up of 80% water, fruits are a very hydrating food with a high water content that hydrate your body and flush your system. Fruit sugar (glucose) is easily assimilated as the body turns the sugar into energy by burning it with oxygen. Fruit juice takes only about 15 minutes and raw fruit about 30 minutes to digest!
